Day 2: January 9
Lose a day as you pass through the International Date Line.

Day 3: January 10: Sydney
You will arrive into Sydney around noon. The tour begins immediately with an in-depth tour inside the famous Sydney Opera House. Later we visit Bondi Beach and more. Sydney is our most favorite city in the world! We overnight at the Sydney Marriott by Circle Quay near the Opera House.

Day 4: January 11: Sydney
Today we finish our tour of Sydney by visiting the fun filled Featherdale Wildlife Park where you can get up close and personal with a koala bear, feed the kangaroos and even hold a baby wallaby! We return to Sydney and transfer to your luxury Princess Cruise Ship.  Later this evening the ship will sail towards Hobart, Tasmania.

Day 5: January 12: Fun Day at Sea
Today you will have a chance to relax and enjoy the entertainment on your fabulous cruise ship.

Day 6: January 13: Hobart Tasmania
Our Optional tour of Tasmania will Include Port Arthur Penal Colony, the Tasman Peninsula and a city tour of Hobart.  Australia was not used by early Europeans as a vacation destination but as a place to send their criminals.  Port Arthur, the largest penal colony in Australia, is where the worst British and Irish offenders were sent between 1830 and1877.  More than 12,000 convicts passed through this penal colony.  The old buildings, manicured grounds and the breathtaking ocean scene create one of the most beautiful places in Australia.

Day 7: January 14: Fun Day at Sea

Day 8: January 15: Melbourne
Today our optional shore excursion is a historic and cultural tour of Melbourne, including stops at the Queen Victoria Market and Federation Square.  Queen Victoria Market is a huge open air market that has been in continuous use since 1878.  Here you experience the sights and smells of a local market with offerings that range from fresh produce to souvenirs.

Day 9: January 16: Fun Day at Sea

Day 10: January 17: Fun Day at Sea

Day 11: January 18: New Zealand Fjords
Today will be a full day of sailing though the Fjords of New Zealand. You will enjoy the stunning beauty of Doubtful Sound, Dusky Sound and Milford Sound where sheer cliffs cut through the heart of the Southern Alps.  These are some of the most beautiful fjords in the world.  Be sure to have your camera ready for unspoiled beauty, sheer peaks, waterfalls and wildlife that make this a truly memorable day.

Day 12: January 19: Dunedin
Today we have an optional full day tour of Dunedin. We enjoy a “fairy tale drive” through captivating scenery, while making stops along the way. We will be visiting the beaches strewn with boulders where sea lions make their homes.  Later we visit the territory of a rare Royal Albatross Colony. We may even see the largest sea bird in the world take flight or come in for a landing. These birds are amazing and one of our favorites to observe.  We end the day with a city tour before returning to our ship.

Day 13: January 20: Akaroa
Our optional tour today takes us to Arthurs Pass National Park.  This beautiful pass ranges in vegetation from vast beach forests to alpine meadows to dense rainforests cut by deeply gorged rivers.   The pass which runs through the Southern Alps of New Zealand is a civic engineering marvel of viaducts, bridges and redirected waterfalls.   It was nearly impassable before these modern conveniences.  In fact in 1864, when Arthur Dobson (for whom the pass is named) first made the trek he was forced to stop at the precipice of the Otira Gorge where he left his horse…but not his dog.  He was so determined to have a traveling partner that he lowered his dog by rope into the gorge.

Day 14: January 21: Picton
Today we will offer an optional full day excursion in Picton.  Picton is a picturesque waterfront town located at the northernmost point of New Zealand’s southern island.  Its location on Cooks Strait makes it an ideal link between the north and south islands.   Picton is situated at the head of Queen Charlotte Sound which is known for its lush farmland and abundance natural resources.   Queen Charlotte Sound is one of the four sounds that make up the incredible Marlborough District.

Day 15: January 22: Wellington
Today our optional tour takes you to “Wonderful, Windy Wellington”.  Like Picton, it is also located on Cooks Strait (the strait that separates the north and south islands) which makes it susceptible to unpredictable weather and the strong winds that funnel through the strait.  This beautiful city was originally settled by a London based company in the 1840’s.  There is still a Victorian feel to parts of the city.  While here we visit the Te Papa Museum and the Mt. Victoria Tramway among other interesting sites.

Day 16: January 23: Fun Day at Sea

Day 17: January 24:    Tauranga / Rotorua
Today our optional full Day Shore Excursion in Tauranga will include a Rotorua Maori experience along with a show at the Agradome. While there we will enjoy a sheep show and a tour of the farm.

Day 18: January 25: Auckland / Fiji
We disembark our ship and do a small city tour on our way to the airport for our flight to Fiji and our 5 star luxury beach resort.

Day 19: January 26: Fiji
Full day at your 5 star beach resort to relax, kayak, golf, swim, or even take a free scuba lesson. You may also choose to explore the beautiful island of Fiji on your own and take in a cultural show and visit their villages.

Day 20: January 27: Another free day to enjoy Fiji
