  Day to Day Itinerary for the regular cruise
Australia Itinerary NON extension group
Day 1: February 4:
Late afternoon flight from home to Los Angeles. Your flight will depart late this evening from Los Angeles to Fiji.
Day 2: February 5:
Lose a day as you pass through the International Date Line.
Day 3: February 6: Fiji
This morning early you will arrive at the beautiful island of Fiji. Fiji is definitely a major highlight on your Australia New Zealand Cruise & tour. After our arrival we will take a small tour of Nadi and then take an hour or so drive through the island to your fantastic 5 star luxury beach resort.
**Important Note: We normally only spend two days in Fiji, but with the timing of the cruise and the airfare dates, we had two choices – Spend either one or three nights in Fiji (two would not work). This was no brainer. We picked three nights. Everyone we have taken to Fiji wished they had more time. So this year you will be the lucky ones. You will have to spend 3 nights at a 5 star luxury beach resort.
Day 4: February 7: Fiji
We will take a tour to Suva today for those who choose to leave their relaxing beach resort.
Day 5: February 8: Fiji
Another fantastic day enjoying your 5 star luxury beach resort.
Day 6: February 9: Fiji - Auckland
Today we depart early for the airport to catch our morning flight to Auckland. Upon arrival we will do a city tour before boarding our luxury Princess Cruise Ship. Later this evening we set sail towards Tauranga, New Zealand.
Day 7: February 10: Tauranga
The ship docks about 1 ½ hours from Rotorua. For those who purchased our optional shore excursion package, we are headed to Rotorua, home of the Maori’s. Our tour includes a Rotorua Maori experience, a visit to the Agradome with a show and a sheep shearing demonstration along with a tour of a working farm.
Day 8: February 11: Fun Day at Sea
Today is a relaxing day as you will have time to explore the ship. We will also hold our own private get-togethers and have a chance to hear from Michael Wilcox.
Day 9: February 12: Akaroa
The ship docks about an hour out of Christchurch. For those that purchased our optional shore excursion package, we will head into Christchurch. We will spend a couple of hours touring the city and then you will have some free time to enjoy this beautiful city before we transfer back to your cruise ship.
Day 10: February 13: Dunedin
The ship docks about 25 minutes out of Dunedin. For those that purchased our optional shore excursion package we will do a full day tour of Dunedin and the surrounding area. We enjoy a “fairy tale drive” through captivating scenery, while making stops along the way. We will be visiting the beaches strewn with boulders where sea lions make their homes. Later we visit the territory of a rare Royal Albatross Colony. We may even see the largest sea bird in the world take flight or come in for a landing. These birds are amazing and one of our favorites to observe. We end the day with a city tour before returning to our ship.
Day 11: February 14: New Zealand Fjords
Today will be a day of sailing through the Fjords of New Zealand. You will enjoy the stunning beauty of Doubtful Sound, Dusky Sound and Milford Sound where sheer cliffs cut through the heart of the Southern Alps. These are some of the most beautiful fjords in the world. Be sure to have your camera ready for unspoiled beauty, sheer peaks, waterfalls and wildlife that make this a truly memorable day.
Day 12: February 15: Fun Day at Sea
Today will be another relaxing day to enjoy your luxury ship. We will also hold our own get-together and hear from Michael.
Day 13: February 16: Fun Day at Sea
Today will be another relaxing day to enjoy your luxury ship. We will also hold our own get-together and hear from Michael.
Day 14: February 17: Hobart Tasmania
The ship will dock in Hobart about 1 ½ hours from one of the best places to visit in Australia – the Port Arthur Penal Colony. For those that purchased our optional shore excursion package, we will head to Port Arthur Penal Colony. Australia was not used by early Europeans as a vacation destination, but as a place to send their criminals. Port Arthur, the largest penal colony in Australia, is where the worst British and Irish offenders were sent between 1830 and 1877. More than 12,000 convicts passed through this penal colony. The old buildings, manicured grounds and the breathtaking ocean scene create one of the most beautiful places in Australia. It just wasn’t beautiful to those sent there in the 1800’s. You will also enjoy the beauty of the the Tasman Peninsula and a city tour of Hobart before returning to the ship.
Day 15: February 18: Fun Day at Sea
Today will be another relaxing day to enjoy your luxury ship. We will also hold our own get-together and hear from Michael.
Day 16: February 19: Melbourne
The ship will dock near Melbourne today. For those that purchased our optional shore excursion package, we will a historic and cultural tour of Melbourne, including stops at the Queen Victoria Market and Federation Square. Queen Victoria Market is a huge open-air market that has been in continuous use since 1878. Here you experience the sights and smells of a local market with offerings that range from fresh produce to souvenirs. You will have ample time to shop before returning to the ship.
Day 17: February 20: Fun Day at Sea
Today will be another relaxing day to enjoy your luxury ship. We will also hold our own get-together and hear from Michael.
Day 18: February 21: Sydney
The ship docks in Sydney. Today we disembark our ship. For those that have purchased our optional shore excursion package we will have a great day exploring one our favorite cities in the world. We will tour the famous Opera House, take a boat ride through Sydney’s many harbors, do a city tour and visit Fetherdale Wildlife park where you can get up close and personal with a koala bear, feed the kangaroos and even hold a baby wallaby. We then return to Sydney and overnight at the Sydney Marriott by Circle Quay near the Opera House.
Day 19: February 22: Sydney – Fiji
For those that purchased our shore excursion & transfer package, today we finish our city tour of Sydney. We then transfer to the airport for our afternoon flight back to the US. We will arrive back in to Los Angeles the same day we left Sydney as you have crossed the International Date Line going the other direction.

Note: Those not doing the extension will do Fiji at the front before the cruise. Those doing the Great Barrier Reef Extension will do Fiji at the end after the cruise.
February 6:
Late afternoon flight from home to Los Angeles. Your flight will depart late this evening from Los Angeles to Auckland.
February 7:
Lose a day as you pass through the International Date Line.
February 8: Auckland - the deluxe hotel and transfer is included in the extension price
Today we arrive early into Auckland. After clearing customs we will transfer to our deluxe hotel located in downtown Auckland.
February 9: Auckland - Princess cruise ship
Today we board our beautiful Princess Cruise Ship. For those that have purchased our optional shore excursion and transfer package we will have a city tour today before transferring to our ship.
Important note: from the time you board the ship, February 9 until February 21 you will be with the non-extension group doing the same itinerary as them. On February 21 you will split and fly to Cairns.
February 21: Ship – Sydney – Great Barrier Reef
For those that have purchased our optional shore excursion package we will have a great day exploring one our favorite cities in the world. We will tour the famous Opera House, take a boat ride through Sydney’s many harbors, do a city tour and visit Fetherdale Wildlife park where you can get up close and personal with a koala bear, feed the kangaroos and even hold a baby wallaby. This evening we fly to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.
**Note: From the time you board the plane for Cairns, all hotels, tours, transfers, guides, full day on the Great Barrier Reef and a visit to the Aborigine Village is all included in your extension price.
February 22: Great Barrier Reef
Today we go by ship to the Great Barrier Reef. It will be a full day to enjoy snorkeling, swimming and exploring the Great Barrier Reef (lunch is included). There is optional diving available for those qualified.
February 23: Cairn – Aborigine Park – Sydney
This morning we will visit an Aborigine Park. You will study their history, learn to throw a boomerang, and enjoy an Aborigine show. This afternoon we will fly from Cairns to Sydney where we will overnight at the Marriott Hotel by Circle Quay near the Opera House. Transfers to the hotel are included.
February 24: Sydney – Fiji
Today we transfer to the airport for our late morning flight to Fiji. Fiji is definitely a big highlight on your Australia New Zealand Cruise & tour. After arrival we will take an hour or so drive through the island to your fantastic 5 star luxury beach resort.

You will still have most of a day to enjoy your 5 star luxury beach resort. Late this afternoon we will transfer to Nandi, doing a small tour, and in the late evening we will fly back to the US and home. You will arrive home the same day, as you cross the International Date Line again going the other direction.
