With a little creativity, we have taken a Princess Cruise and added a land tour to reach the important places missed on the cruise. When you combine a great cruise, with a great land tour and then add a great educator you create the Ultimate British Isles & Ireland Cruise & tour. This is a great itinerary! Here is a partial list of what you will see and experience on this special cruise/tour:

Visit the following sites on your land tour:
In England: London, Windsor Castle, Tower of London, Stratford upon-Avon, Liverpool, and The English countryside.
In Wales: Conwy.

Visit the following sites by cruise ship:
In England: Southampton, and Stonehenge. (England is mostly by land)
In Scotland: Edinburgh, Edinburgh Castle, Orkney Islands, Glasgow, Sterling Castle, and more.
In Ireland: Belfast, Ireland Coastal Drive, Giant’s Causeway, Dublin, Cork, Blarney Castle, and more.
France: Le Havre, France, Normandy Landing Beaches, and the American Cemetery.

Our pricing is a package that will actually give you more for less!  Below we have listed what is included in our discounted package price.
  • Inside upgrade cabin on Princess Cruise on “Majestic Princess.”
  • $300 in ship port charges and fees.
  • $310 in ship taxes.
  • All land taxes.
  • All booking fees and ticketing fees.
  • Deluxe hotels in Stratford-Upon-Avon, London, and near Liverpool.
  • All tours, entrance fees, buses and guides during the land portion in England.
  • All transfers, if you booked our group airfare or your flight arrives on or before and departs after our Fun For Less group flights.
  • Special Guest Educator on cruise portion only: Dr. Michael Wilcox.
  • Fun For Less Tours staff throughout the cruise, tour, and shore excursions – “We don’t send you, we take you.”
  • Educational lectures on the ship.
  • Individual Headset receivers that allow you to hear every word spoken by our guides, staff, and educator, even when you step away from the group to take that important picture.
  • Shore excursions are not included in our package: We give you the OPTION to purchase our discounted shore excursions, they are discounted less than the ship charges.  Our OPTIONAL shore excursion package includes 8 full days of tours, guides, buses, entrance fees, tour staff for only $1,088 (including taxes & fees).  
  • Airfare is not included in our package: We give you the OPTION to purchase our group airfare.

This is a partial list, and subject to change as needed to accomplish everything we can in each area we visit.

Day 1: May 29: Fly from the US to Manchester, England.

Day 2: May 30: Manchester – Liverpool
After clearing customs in Manchester we will drive to Northern Wales and the castle and walled town of Conwy. Built by Edward I as part of a ring of castles to cower the Welsh into Submission, Conwy stirs images of the legends of King Arthur, for Wales was the origin of the famous Camelot Stories. Overnight near Liverpool.  (Transfers are included if you booked our group airfare or your flight arrives on or before and departs on or after our group flights.)

Day 3: May 31: Liverpool – Stratford-Upon-Avon
This morning we will visit the famous Albert Dock which was used by many immigrants as they left England for the US. Then we will drive to Stratford-Upon-Avon. We will have a chance to explore the area before going to the hotel.

Day 4: June 1: Windsor – London
This morning we will drive to London. Before going to the hotel we head to one of the homes of the royal family, Windsor Castle. You will have time to explore the castle and the many shops around it. Overnight outside of London.

Day 5: June 2: London
Today will be a full-day tour in London. Included in our tour is the infamous Tower of London, a castle, a prison, and the most famous execution site in Europe. Time permitting we will stop at the British Museum.

Day 6: June 3: Hampton Court – Southampton
This morning, we will head to Hampton Court Palace. Home to Henry VIII and the Tudor Dynasty. You will have a chance to explore this Palace before driving to Southampton to board our beautiful ship.

Day 7: June 4: Portland, England
Optional Shore Excursion to Portland, England. Our excursion will include Stonehenge.

Day 8: June 5: Fun Day at Sea
Today is another relaxing day to explore this fantastic ship.

Day 9: June 6: Cork, Ireland
Optional Shore Excursion: Our shore excursion will include a stop at Blarney Castle. This is your chance to Kiss the Blarney Stone.

Day 10: June 7: Dublin, Ireland
Optional Shore Excursion: Today we will do a short city tour of Dublin including a visit to Trinity College home of the Book of Kells, a beautifully illuminated manuscript of the New Testament, and the greatest treasure of Ireland.

Day 11: June 8: Belfast – Ireland Coast
Optional Shore Excursion: Today will be a highlight day! We begin with a drive up one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. At the top of the spectacular coastal drive, we will stop at the Giants Causeway, one of the most remarkable geological wonders in Europe. Then return to the ship.

Day 12: June 9: Glasgow – Stirling Castle
Optional Shore Excursion: Stirling Castle was built in the 14th and 15th Centuries, Several Kings and Queens have been crowned here, including Mary, Queen of Scotts in 1543.  If time permits we may do a small tour in Glasgow before returning to the ship.

Day 13: June 10: Fun Day at Sea
Today is a relaxing day to explore this fantastic ship.

Day 14: June 11: Orkney Islands
We will have an optional shore excursion today of Kirkwall. This area has a great Viking history.

Day 15: June 12: Edinburgh
Optional Shore Excursion: We have an entire day to enjoy Edinburgh. We will have a morning tour of the city, including Edinburgh Castle. Sir Walter Scott created the mystique of the Scottish clans here and there is a monument to this famous Scott. Edinburgh is also the city of Greyfriars Bobby and J.K. Rowling who wrote Harry Potter from the upstairs window of a local pub. You will enjoy Edinburgh Castle and have time to walk and explore the Royal Mile before returning to the ship.

Day 16: June 13: Fun Day at Sea
Today is another relaxing day to explore this fantastic ship.

Day 17: June 14: Normandy Coast
Optional shore Excursion: This morning we will tour the Normandy Landing Beaches including Omaha Beach. We will also visit the American Cemetery before returning to the ship.

Day 18: June 15: Bath – London
This morning we will travel to Bath, known and named after the Roman Baths. It has become an elegant ancient town with neoclassical Palladian buildings that blend harmoniously with the Roman Baths.  Then we will drive to London to overnight.

Day 19: June 16: Fly Home
This morning we will transfer to London Heathrow Airport to fly back to the US and home.  (Transfers are included if you booked our group airfare or your flight arrives on or before and departs on or after our group flights.)
