- Marrakesh, Morocco: It’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marrakesh, is like no other experience! At night the former imperial capital is wild and unique, with a blend of spice sellers, street performers, and a ton of flea market booths selling their wares.
- Lisbon, Portugal: Our tour will include two UNESCO fairytale castles – the colorful Pena Palace and the Tower of Belem, along with the Jeronimo’s Monastery.
- Seville, Spain: The stunning Plaza de Espana, the outside of Seville’s Cathedral with Columbus’ Tomb, and ancient narrow streets of the Santa Cruz quarter.
- The Rock of Gibraltar: Gibraltar is part of the British Empire and refuses to become part of Spain. This will be a huge highlight.

Upon arrival they found a driver of a van and hired him off the street to take them all over Morocco. Hiring a stranger off the streets in Tangier, Morocco, to drive your family for several days throughout Morocco, is not what we recommend for our passengers to do. But, for the Tyndall family it was the best way to explore and experience everything in Morocco. It also shows how safe they felt in Morocco. Because of the movie Casablanca it may be the most famous city in Morocco, but the best of the best can be found in Marrakesh. You are going to love the medieval walled city that makes up part of Marrakesh AND you will never forget the atmosphere of Marrakesh at night. The huge square becomes a gigantic flea market – filled with numerous sellers of wares, street performers, and possibly snake charmers playing a pungi (their wind instrument) to their cobras. This will be a highlight you will remember forever! We also visit the impressive mountains near Marrakesh.

Day by Day Itinerary is subject to change at any time.
Day 1: November 5: Fly
Today we fly from the US to Marrakesh, Morocco.
Day 2: November 6: Marrakesh
This afternoon we will arrive into Marrakesh, Morocco. On our way to our hotel we will do a little orientation drive through the area. You overnight in a 5-Star Luxury Hotel in Marrakesh for the next three nights. (Transfers are included if you booked our group airfare or your flight arrives on or before and departs on or after our group flights.)
Day 3: November 7: Marrakesh, Morocco
Our tour will include, Marrakesh’s ancient walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will also visit the Berber museum, Koutoubia Mosque, and the Medina. Before returning to our hotel, we will stop by Marrakesh’s famous Djemaa El Fna square to enjoy the whine of the snake charmers flutes as they play with cobra’s. We will return again in the evening to Marrakesh’s famous square to enjoy street perfumers, gypsies telling fortunes, fire breathers, musicians and witness the many odd foods being eaten by the locals.
Day 4: November 8: Marrakesh, Morocco – Atlas Mountains
Today is a full day to the nearby Atlas Mountains and three valley’s waterfalls along with visits to local villages. At the end of the day we will return to Marrakesh to overnight.
Day 5: November 9: Marrakesh – Madrid
Late this morning we will travel from Madrid to Marrakesh, arriving midafternoon. After gathering our bags we will transfer to our 5-Star Luxury Hotel in Madrid where you will be staying for the next three nights.
Day 6: November 10: Segovia – Avila – Madrid
This morning we will head to the north of Madrid, crossing the rugged Sierra de Guadarrama on the way to Segovia, famous for its Alcazar and the 2,000-year-old Roman Aqueduct. We will then continue on to the walled and turreted town of Avila, where St. Theresa founded the Order of Carmelites. We will return to our 5-star hotel in Madrid.
Day 7: November 11: Toledo – Madrid
Toledo attracts more tourists than any other place in Spain. On a hill surrounded by a loop in the Tagus River stands this old capital. We will spend the day touring the medieval walled city of Toledo.
Day 8: November 12: Madrid – Barcelona
Today we will tour Madrid. Our tour will include Plaza Espana, the Parliament, Cibeles Fountain, elegant Calle Alcala, Paseo de Castellana, and a visit the Royal Palace. Late in the afternoon we will fly to Barcelona, upon arrival we will transfer to our 4-Star Deluxe Hotel.
Day 9: November 13: Barcelona, Spain – Celebrity Cruise Ship
We will do a city tour along with a visit to the outside of the famous La Sagrada Familia Church (one of the most unique churches in the world). We will also visit some of the Gaudi family history architecture buildings and homes. After our tour we transfer to our Celebrity Cruise Ship.
Day 10: November 14: Valencia, Spain
For those who purchased our shore excursion package you will learn about the famous architect Santiago Calatrava, while exploring the impressive futuristic complex. Next, we will head to the historical center of Valencia and visit the masterpiece of Gothic architecture, La Lonja de la Seda. Discover the fascinating history of the Silk Exchange and the important role it played in the city’s commerce. As we continue our tour, we will stroll through the charming old town and see the Central Market, where locals sell fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood. We will explore the old town by foot as it is mostly a pedestrian area.
Day 11: November 15: Cartagena, Spain
For those who purchased our shore excursion package we will have a full-day tour of Cartagena and Murcia. Discover two cities during one itinerary, which begins with pickup from the Cartagena cruise ship dock. See top landmarks including museums, palaces, cathedrals, and castles during the tour.
Day 12: November 16: Malaga – The Rock of Gibraltar, United Kingdom
For those who purchased our shore excursion package we will visit this wonderful site. Today is a highlight day. Our ship stops in Malaga. The Rock of Gibraltar is only a little over 1-hour drive from Malaga. We can’t get this close without visiting a true highlight day in the area. You’re going to love the Rock. Spain has been trying to get the Rock of Gibraltar to become part of Spain, but after every vote that has ever been taken on the matter, the citizens chose to stay part of the United Kingdom.
Day 13: November 17: Seville, Spain
From the port of Cadiz, it is a short drive to Seville. For those who purchased our shore excursion package we will visit this wonderful city. From its old town with a quaint Moorish feel, to its impressive monuments and lovely architecture – you’re going to love Seville.
Day 14: November 18: Tangier, Morocco
Another day in Morocco. For those who purchased our shore excursion package we will discover the Spanish Quarter and Grand Mosque, stroll the medina, see the Hercules Caves, the Dar el-Makhzen museum, and the Kasbah.
Day 15: November 19: Fun Day At Sea
Today will be a day to relax and enjoy the ship. We will also meet today with our educator.
Day 16: November 20: Porto, Portugal
If you purchased the shore excursion package you will visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, Porto is one of Europe’s oldest cities, second in size to only Lisbon.
Day 17: November 21: Lisbon, Portugal
This morning we disembark our beautiful cruise ship for a full day tour. You will see why this city stands out above all others as you stroll along elaborate mosaic sidewalks, explore castles and enjoy the beautiful countryside’s. This evening you will overnight in a 4-Star Deluxe Hotel.
Day 18: November 22: Fly Home.
This morning we will fly from Lisbon back to the U.S. and on to our homes – taking memories and experiences you will never forget. (Transfers are included if you booked our group airfare or your flight arrives on or before and departs on or after our group flights.)
